DUBAI (Reuters) -An Israeli air attack targeted Aleppo International Airport on Wednesday, according to a report by Syrian state TV.
"The Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Latakia, targeting Aleppo International Airport," a Syrian military source told state TV, adding that the attack had damaged the airport's runway.
The Israeli military declined to comment when asked if it attacked Aleppo's airport.
The airport has been out of service since Oct. 22 due to an Israeli missile attack.
