    Han Dong-hoon announces he will run for the presidential election in Seoul

    SEOUL (Reuters) - Han Dong-hoon, a former leader of South Korea's ruling People Power Party, announced his bid for the presidency on Thursday.

    South Korea will hold a presidential election on June 3, after former president Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment stemming from a December martial law declaration was upheld on April 4.
