    Twelve countries call on developed nations to meet climate financing obligations by 2030

    BELEM (Reuters) - Twelve forest countries at the Amazon summit in Brazil on Wednesday called on developed nations to fulfill their climate financing obligations and to contribute $200 billion per year by 2030 in biodiversity funding.

    The call comes from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Guyana, Indonesia, Peru, the Republic of Congo, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Venezuela.
