Philippines’ Marcos says constitution should be changed to fit ‘globalised world’

MANILA (Reuters) - Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr said the country's constitution needs to be amended because it was "not written for the globalised world".

Marcos, in an interview with GMA News TV aired on Tuesday, said the economic provisions of the 1987 constitution, which was introduced a year after the overthrow of his father and namesake after two decades in power, must be changed to attract more foreign investors.
