Snow-induced halt to flights in Vienna extended until 1100 GMT

VIENNA, Feb ‌20 (Reuters) - The ​suspension of flights at Vienna ⁠Airport on Friday due to heavy snowfall ​has been extended by ‌three hours until midday (1100 GMT) and delays are ⁠expected to ⁠continue well beyond then, the company said in a statement.

"As things ‌currently stand, individual take-offs ⁠should be ‌possible as ​of midday, and landings as of 1 p.m.," ‌it said, ​adding that ⁠of around 232 ‌flights scheduled ⁠into and out of Vienna on Friday until ​midday, 150 ‌had been cancelled so ⁠far.
