SAO PAULO, April 15 (Reuters) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro are statistically tied in a potential runoff in October's general election, with the challenger leading Lula for the first time within the survey's margin of error, a Quaest poll commissioned by brokerage Genial showed on Wednesday.
* In a potential run-off , Flavio Bolsonaro is seen with 42%of the vote compared with Lula's 40%, the poll showed. * This marks the first time the senator has appeared aheadof Lula in a second-round scenario, the poll showed. * In a March survey, the two candidates were tied at 41%each in a potential runoff. * In the first round, Lula is seen with 37% of the vote,compared with 32% for Flavio Bolsonaro. * Quaest surveyed 2,004 people between April 9-13. * The poll has a margin of error of two percentage points ineither direction.
