South African president removes social development minister

JOHANNESBURG, ‌May 14 (Reuters) - ​South African President ⁠Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday removed ​Sisisi Tolashe ‌from the position of minister of ⁠social ⁠development.

He appointed Sindisiwe Chikunga, minister in the ‌presidency for women, ⁠youth ‌and people ​with disabilities, as acting social ‌development ​minister ⁠pending a full-time ‌appointment, ⁠Ramaphosa's office said in a statement.
