WASHINGTON, June ā27 (Reuters) - The United āStates carried out further strikes ā on Iran on Saturday, said the U.S. Central āCommand, targeting various sites, āincluding military surveillance infrastructure.
"CENTCOM forces launched strikes today in ā direct response to ā continued Iranian aggression against commercial shipping," CENTCOM said in a statement.
"After yesterdayās āU.S. strikes in response ā to the Iranian āattack on āM/V Ever Lovely, Iran was given a chance āto honor the āceasefire agreement ā but elected not to āwhen its ā forces launched a one-way attack drone that hit M/T āKiku āthis morning," it said.
