Hundreds evacuated after fire hits luxury Paris hotel

PARIS, March ‌25 (Reuters) - Around ​400 people were evacuated after ⁠a blaze broke out in a five-star ​hotel in Paris on ‌Wednesday, firefighters said.

Two members of staff were slightly ⁠injured as ⁠they tried to put out the fire which started at around ‌1020 GMT in the ⁠basement kitchen ‌of the ​Bristol, a hotel often used by visiting world ‌leaders close ​to the ⁠Elysee Palace.

Police closed ‌Faubourg Saint‑Honore ⁠street and the fire was brought under control, ​the capital's ‌fire service said.
