Feb ‌28 (Reuters) - The ​Israeli ⁠operation against Iran on ​Saturday ‌was coordinated with the U.S., ⁠an ⁠Israeli defence official told ‌Reuters.

The operation ⁠was ‌planned ​for months and the ‌launch ​date ⁠was decided ‌weeks ⁠ago, the official added.
