Keiko Fujimori leads Peru’s presidential vote with 16.6%, shows early exit poll from Ipsos Peru

LIMA, ‌April 12 (Reuters) - Right-leaning ​candidate Keiko Fujimori is ⁠leading Peru's presidential vote with 16.6%, an ​early exit poll ‌by Ipsos Peru showed on Sunday.

Leftist candidate Roberto ⁠Sanchez trailed ⁠with 12.1%, and a third candidate, center-leftist Ricardo Belmont, ‌had 11.8% of the ⁠vote.

If no ‌candidate clears ​the 50% threshold needed to win outright, ‌the two ​most-voted ⁠candidates would advance to ‌a ⁠second round, scheduled for June 7.
