State Department approves potential sale of aircraft, torpedoes to Singapore for $2.3 billion, Pentagon says

Jan ​20 (Reuters) - The U.S. State ⁠Department has approved the potential ‍sale of ​maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft ​and lightweight torpedoes and related equipment to ‌Singapore in a ‌deal valued ​at an estimated $2.3 billion, the ‌Pentagon said ⁠on Tuesday.

The principal ‌contractor ​is Boeing, according to ⁠the Pentagon.
