GENEVA, ‌March 12 (Reuters) - ​The U.N. refugee agency ⁠said on Thursday that up ​to 3.2 million ‌people have been displaced inside Iran ⁠since the ⁠conflict began on February 28.

"This figure is ‌likely to continue ⁠rising as ‌hostilities ​persist, marking a worrying escalation in ‌humanitarian needs," ​UNHCR ⁠said in a ‌statement, ⁠citing preliminary assessments based on the ​number ‌of uprooted households.
