Russian authorities detain investigative journalist, state media reports

MOSCOW, ‌April 9 (Reuters) - Oleg ​Roldugin, an investigative ⁠journalist for independent Russian newspaper Novaya ​Gazeta, was detained ‌on Thursday in a case involving alleged ⁠misuse of ⁠personal data, state news agency RIA reported.

The newspaper ‌said earlier that masked ⁠security service ‌agents ​were searching its Moscow office as ‌part of an ​unspecified ⁠investigation, adding that ‌its ⁠lawyers were not being allowed into the ​building.
