France’s Macron invites Brazil’s Lula to G7 summit in June

SAO ‌PAULO, Feb 19 (Reuters) - ​French President Emmanuel ⁠Macron has invited his Brazilian counterpart ​Luiz Inacio ‌Lula da Silva to attend the G7 ⁠summit in ⁠June, Brazil's government said on Thursday.

The two leaders ‌met on the ⁠sidelines of ‌India's AI ​summit in New Delhi, where ‌they discussed ​global ⁠issues including peace and ‌security. ⁠The statement did not say whether ​Lula accepted ‌the invitation.
